Halal Food: A Global Gateway to Growth

With the 1st Anuga Halal Forum, Anuga is creating a new international knowledge centre for halal topics in cooperation with the Islamic Chamber Halal Services (ICHS). As the world's largest trade fair for food and beverages, Anuga is thus entering into a forward-looking partnership with one of the most important players in the halal sector.

Organised by ICHS - Islamic Chamber Halal Services

The Islamic Chamber for Halal Services (ICHS) is the halal executive arm of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development and is committed to developing the Halal market both quantitatively and qualitatively. Based in London and with regional office in Cairo, ICHS is one of the world’s most important halal institiouns and is also the organiser of the renowened Makkah Halal Forum in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Objectives of the forum

The Anuga Halal Forum is aimed at companies, trade visitors and decision-makers from the global food industry who:

  • are planning to enter the halal market or are already active,
  • want to find out about new market opportunities and international standards,
  • are looking for strategic knowledge and practical tools for their halal business,
  • want to learn about successful practical examples from established market players.

The forum programme has a strong international focus and will cover the following topics, among others:
