The 36-year-old Robert has many years of experience in online food retailing and logistics. He comes from Allyouneed Fresh, also a food retailer, where he was the CEO responsible for the expansion of the Operation, Supply Chain and Fulfillment divisions. Other important positions included Amazon, Momox and the Otto Group. Moreover, he teaches leadership and quality management at the DHGE-Thüringen University of Applied Sciences.

David Ochmann is the Chief Commercial Officer at LeShop, the Swiss leading online grocery player owned by Migros. His responsibilities include Marketing & Sales, Category Management and Customer Care. David’s passion and key expertise center around agile organizational design, data & technology enabled marketing and customer journey engagement. Previous to LeShop, David was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey’s Marketing and Sales practice, Head of Sales at VICE Germany and Media Manager at Procter&Gamble.

Siddharth Nambiar

Sid Nambiar is the Head of Amazon Prime Now, which he built from business plan to the largest selection of Grocery, Electronics and Home products available in 2-hours. Previously, he built and scaled the Grocery business at Amazon India, and was Venture Director at Rocket Internet. At Rocket Internet, he helped portfolio companies scale to market leadership position. He earned an MBA degree from Oxford University.

Penny Cox

Penny is currently responsible for launching online grocery offerings across all major markets in South East Asia for Lazada/Alibaba group. Before this she launched a within-1-hr grocery delivery service within Singapore for RedMart, Singapore’s leading online store for groceries, household essentials and related products. Prior to that she held the position of VP of Commercial, responsible for the P&L, product range, pricing, availability and profit. As a key member of the founding team of RedMart, Penny launched a grocery marketplace, added fresh and frozen foods, and grew revenue by 20X. RedMart was acquired by Lazada/Alibaba in November 2017. Prior to RedMart, Penny worked for Coles in Australia on their online strategy and at Ocado in the UK as senior merchandising and strategy manager. She started her career designing football stadiums in UK and moved on to strategy consulting with L.E.K. Consulting before finding her niche in the then-nascent world of online grocery. Penny has an MBA from INSEAD and a Masters in Engineering from University of Cambridge and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Zina Mavroedi

Zina is the CEO of, a technology driven on line supermarket. She looks after daily operations for all departments of the company and sets up the future strategic objectives. is a fast growing on line retailer with double growth every year. It is known for utilizing technological innovations such as artificial intelligence and warehouse automations to offer a comprehensive service to the Greek consumer. Since started trading in the end of 2016, it has successfully delivered more than 300,000 on line grocery orders to thousands of Greek households. is a vertically integrated organization with in house facilities of warehouse management and end mile logistics. By doing a good job, the company aims to raise awareness on how e-commerce can help us “declutter” our days and spend our free time on what is important to us. Prior to her current role, Zina was a strategy consultant specializing in big data and working equally with the technical, analytical and strategic aspects of customer insight and data intelligence areas. She holds an Msc in operational research and management science from Warwick Business School and a bachelor degree in marketing and OR from Athens university of Economics and Business. She is passionate about entrepreneurship, e-commerce and the Greek potential.

Prior to BigBasket Vipul was Investment Director at Peepul Capital AdvisorsPresident of Trinethra Super Retail, Co-Founder and Vice President at Fabmall and Business Development Manager at Wipro. Vipul received a postgraduate degree in Management and Marketing from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore.

Francis first got involved in the space more than a decade ago and was responsible for launching many of P&G’s brands into various Pure Plays (in particular Amazon) across multiple European markets. He also worked to drive the Online businesses with multiple Bricks & Clicks retailers. At Nomad Foods, Francis is responsible for driving the Online sales of Family Favourites such as iglo, Findus and Birdseye. Whilst this space has challenges, the consumer is ultimately the boss. Therefore it’s crucial for Brands and Retailers to understand how they can deliver against increasing consumer expectations whilst at the same time addressing the resulting business challenges – something Francis focusses on.
