For the fifth time already, Anuga together with Foodservice Europe & Middle East offers interesting and exciting presentations on the newest trends and perspectives in the worldwide catering market. Again this year, a one-hour lecture on each of the first three days of the trade fair, will give glimpses into the global food service market, moderated by Boris Tomic (Editor-in-Chief FoodService Europe & Middle East).
The AmRest Group based in Poland is one of the most important food service companies in Europe. AmRest operates restaurants under the brands KFC, Pizza Hut, Starbucks, Burger King, but also owns the brands La Tagliatella, Bacoa, Blue Forg, KABB and Sushi Shop. Up to-date, AmRest runs more than 2,100 restaurants with around 40,000 employees in the fast-food and casual dining section in 26 countries. In Germany the company currently operates 130 Starbucks subsidiaries, 75 Pizza Huts and 24 KFC restaurants.
Jerzy Tymofiejew, Chief Development Officer at Amrest Holding will talk about the challenges of such a giant in terms of expansion and organisation.
