Patissier of the Year is the competition for creative professionals from Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the South Tyrol, who have a soft spot for desserts. Six participants are competing against each other in the grand final at Anuga. The focus of the competition lies on the professional expertise in the various patisserie techniques as well as primarily on creativity. In addition to the title and the professional recognition involved in winning the prestigious award, the award-winner can also look forward to prize-money to the value of €3,000.00.

- 01:30 p.m.-04:00 p.m.: Service time | Tasting of the finalists‘ menus by the jury
- 05:30 p.m.-05:45 p.m.: Introduction of the jury members / presentation of the candidates / awarding of the special prizes
- 05:45 p.m.-06:00 p.m.: Festive award ceremony and announcement of the „Patissier of the Year 2019“
