„Hot Take Debate“: Future of Food
Hot Debate is a fast-paced, interactive format for thinking out loud about the future of food. Instead of a classic panel, guests respond to bold statements by stepping into the middle—depending on whether they agree or disagree. The conversation is moderated to keep it sharp, honest, and grounded in real perspectives. The audience doesn’t ask questions but responds with counterpoints and personal experience. This edition tackles key questions shaping what’s next: Should corporations carry more responsibility than consumers? Will AI shape our diets more than farmers? And is it time to let go of certain food traditions in the name of sustainability? No need to agree—just come ready to think in public.
- Power & Responsibility: “Corporations—not consumers—hold the most responsibility for shifting the food system.”
- Innovation & Tech:
· “The most impactful changes of our food system of the next 20 years will happen outside the lab.”
· “AI will soon have more influence over what we eat than chefs or farmers.”
- Tradition vs Progress: “Some food traditions should be left behind for the sake of sustainability.”
- Future Visions: “We’ll only build a better food system if we decentralise it.”
