How can viticulture be carried out in an environmentally friendly way and how can pesticides be saved?

The winegrowers are already dealing intensively with climate change and adapting to a changed environment

- new grape varieties,

- new resistant grape varieties,

- proven historical grape varieties and

- wines produced sustainably or with organic certification

to meet. This is hardly noticed in public.

The FairWineAward, which will be held for the second time in autumn 2023 - after the premiere in March 2023 at the new wine trade fair EUROVINO in Karlsruhe, is dedicated to this topic. A well-versed expert jury filled with well-known names headed by Dr. Hermann Pilz, Landau, and top sommelier Claudia Stern, Cologne, will taste and rate the wines in September 2023.

The winning wines will be presented at the same time as the ANUGA trade fair (October 7-11) on the stage "organic on stage" on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 | 12:30 p.m. and presented to a broad audience for tasting.
