Since 1979, when Angelo Giovanardi founded a small artisanal gelateria with an adjoining workshop in Maranello, Casa del Gelato has embarked on a path of continuous growth and innovation.
Initially focused on local consumption, the company quickly expanded its scope, entering the foodservice sector.
Between 1995 and 2010, with the generational transition to Angelo’s sons, Andrea and Corrado Giovanardi, the artisanal workshop evolved into a modern food production company, initiating its first exports to European markets.
In 2011, production moved to a new and larger facility, built to meet the highest food safety standards (BRC and IFS certifications), and recognized with international product certifications such as RSPO, Rainforest Alliance, V-Label, Halal Quality Control (HQC), and Euro Kosher.
Today, Casa del Gelato exports around 90% of its production, with a strong specialization in the private label sector, which also accounts for 90% of its output.
The company’s presence in international large-scale retail continues to grow, confirming its solidity and reliability.
To support this current growth phase and further strengthen production capacity, an ambitious investment plan is underway for the construction of a new facility, set to be built near the current headquarters by 2026.
Casa del Gelato thus reaffirms itself as a strategic partner for modern retail buyers, offering tailor-made solutions, certified quality, and an authentic Italian passion for gelato.
