HISTORY FROM 1915…
Our family has been making traditional sausages for over 100 years in Baños de Río Tobía, a small village focused on the artisan production of traditional Rioja chorizo sausages.
We are in La Rioja, a land known throughout the world for the quality of its wines, but where many other consumer products also stand out. Especially the vegetables and traditional sausages derived from pork, which are part of the culture of this region.
At Embutidos Ortiz, we want to transmit all this culture and tradition to the flavour of our products, many of which (chorizo, salchichón, chistorra) still maintain the natural recipe used by our great-grandfather Pedro, our grandfather Faustino and our father Domingo.
