The South Tyrolean frozen food company Pan offers a wide range of Alpine and Mediterranean products. All recipes remain authentic and true to their origins. For decades, strudels – especially the delicious apple strudel – have been at the heart of Pan’s rich assortment of premium baked goods.
When it comes to strudel production, Pan places great value on the quality of its raw materials. Each year, around 6,000 tons of apples are peeled at the company – all sourced from sustainable production certified according to Global G.A.P. A key success factor lies in the sustainable supply chains and close partnerships with local farmers, ensuring top quality and exceptional taste.
Responsible resource management is a central part of Pan’s sustainability strategy. In the apple strudel production process, waste is minimized as much as possible – even apple peels are reused: first pressed into juice, then converted into energy. Pan sources 100% of its electricity from renewable energy and now covers up to 30% of its energy needs with its expanded photovoltaic system.
Pan’s already-baked apple strudel slices offer a high level of convenience: They are easy to store, quick to prepare, and designed to help reduce food waste, since only the amount needed is prepared. This also provides reliable cost control for professional kitchens.
What sets Pan’s apple strudel apart are its natural ingredients, juicy fruit filling, and traditional recipes. The strudel is made without any binding agents, artificial flavorings, or preservatives.
Versatile in preparation, the baked strudel slices can be heated in a combinated oven, conventional oven, or microwave. Alternatively, they can be thawed for a few hours and gently warmed before serving.
Made with pulled dough and pre-portioned for convenience, the slices are available in 160 g or 125 g (vegan) sizes. Refined with raisins and subtly flavored with cinnamon and sugar, they are perfect for a variety of serving styles – from classic with vanilla sauce to modern with vanilla espuma and raspberries.
The 160 g slices are available in two packaging formats: Bulk pack for foodservice: 36 slices per box, and retail-ready C+C packaging: 6 slices per box
Pan will present its strudel range – and much more – at ANUGA in Cologne (Hall 4.1, Booth C-060).
