Estover Piimatööstus OÜ has been a cornerstone of the Baltic dairy industry for over 30 years. Founded in 1992, Estover began by wholesaling dairy products across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Finland. Today, it stands as one of Estonia’s largest producers, wholesalers, and distributors of dairy products, holding an impressive 30% share of the local cheese market.
Estover not only manufactures a wide variety of products including semi-hard cheeses, cottage cheese, cream cheese, processed cheese, yogurt, butter, ricotta, and mozzarella, but also represents globally recognized dairy brands such as Philadelphia, Président, Galbani, and Bergader. With a growing focus on international markets, Estover exports to countries including Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Croatia, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Germany, Norway, and Italy.
Estover Piimatööstus is proud to operate under the internationally accredited FSSC 22000 food safety management system, ensuring high-quality and safe production processes across the board.
Whey Protein Takes the Lead
Estover is now excited to announce the launch of its innovative High Whey Protein product line. After years of careful development, the new range is ready to make its global debut.
Whey protein is celebrated for its high digestibility, muscle-supporting benefits, and rapid absorption, making it the go-to ingredient for active and health-conscious consumers. Estover’s High Whey Protein line puts this powerful ingredient at the center of its formulation – offering convenient, nutritious, and delicious options for everyday wellness.
Why Low Casein Matters
In addition to high whey content, Estover’s new range is low in casein, a slower-digesting milk protein that can cause discomfort for some. Low-casein products are gentler on the stomach, easier to digest, and ideal for recovery and sensitive consumers, making this innovation not just healthier but also more inclusive.
Green by Design – Sustainability at the Core
Estover is proud to be one of the greenest dairy producers in the Baltic region. In 2022, the company completed a biogas plant next to its production facility, where wastewater and whey residues are treated and converted into renewable energy. Today, Estover operates almost entirely on self-produced energy generated from biogas (1,600 kWh) and solar parks (850 kWh).
With a strong commitment to sustainability, Estover uses energy-efficient technologies and continuously invests in reducing its environmental footprint – from production to packaging.
