Harald Ebner

Harald Ebner has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2011. As a member of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen parliamentary group, he represents the constituency of Schwäbisch Hall - Hohenlohe (Baden-Württemberg).

On May 25, 2011, Harald Ebner moved up to the 17th German Bundestag via the green state list of Baden-Württemberg, to which he has been a member since then. He was re-elected for the 20th German Bundestag on September 26, 2021 via the state list.
Harald Ebner is spokesman for his parliamentary group for genetic engineering and bioeconomy policy as well as for forest policy. He is a full member and chairman of his parliamentary group in the Committee on Food and Agriculture and a deputy member in the Committee on the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety and in the Committee on Education, Research and Technology Assessment. Together with Dr. Kirsten Kappert-Gonther, he heads the working group on bioethics and biotechnology within the Green parliamentary group. He is also spokesman for the state group of the Baden-Württemberg Greens in the Bundestag and has been a member of the Franco-German Parliamentary Assembly with voting rights since 2019.
In Baden-Württemberg, Harald Ebner is a member of the state executive committee of his party. He is also a member of the German Parliamentary Society (DPG), the German Nature Conservation Union (NABU), the Interest Group for Healthy Food (IG FÜR), the Professional Association of Landscape Ecologists Baden-Württemberg (BVDL) and the Federal Association of Professional Nature Conservation (BBN).
