Jaclyn Schnau is a passionate advocate and speaker on healthy nutrition and working moms. She is also the founder and CEO of Pumpkin Organics, the pioneer of all organic, plant-centric, sustainable nutrition for babies and kids.
Before starting the company in 2016, she was the CEO of windelbar, an online baby supplies retailer, as well as the Chief Customer Officer at windeln.de. Jaclyn regularly sets time aside to mentor other female founders and working moms, while still being a mentee herself. She is a member of the Leaders for Climate Action and a guest lecturer at TUM, the Technical University of Munich.
She has a broad marketing background for world-renowned brands such as Häagen Dazs and Pizza Hut. Jaclyn started her career at General Mills as a Marketing Associate before moving on to become the Global Marketing Manager for all Häagen Dazs Shops International. Working at these companies, she successfully pushed for lower-sugar products and more transparent marketing. After digging deeper into the nutrition world, a general sense of frustration about the state of baby food ultimately led her to the idea to launch Pumpkin Organics.
Born and raised in Canada, she graduated from University of Victoria with a bachelor’s in commerce before she went on to earn her MBA at Harvard Business School (USA). While at Harvard, she also met Florian, her future co-founding husband. Jaclyn Schnau lives and works in Munich, Germany, together with her husband and daughter Olivia, who is one of Pumpkin Organics’ biggest fans and Chief Product Officer.
