The event
The presentation aims to provide an overview of the positive role that fish and other foods from fresh and salt water – known as blue foods – play in feeding the growing world population.
In order to fully exploit the potential of blue foods, policymakers must place greater emphasis on them in their nutrition strategies. At the same time, sustainability must be implemented in all areas – less food waste in the supply chain, responsible aquaculture and sustainable fishing.
What role do the various stakeholders play in this, such as policymakers, fisheries and fish farms, science, companies and standard setters such as MSC and ASC?
