ECOTROPHELIA Europe Competition

The Europe-wide competition for sustainable food innovations brings together the brightest student talents from across the continent. Young teams develop visionary product concepts that combine enjoyment, innovation and environmental awareness. The grand finale took place on 7 and 8 October 2025 during Anuga in Cologne.

Visitors could look forward to pioneering concepts and inspiring new products — showcased in the brand-new ECOTROPHELIA Showcase, where selected projects took center stage. The official award ceremony on the Trend Zone stage rounded off the program.

Tiefkühl-Star

The trade magazine Lebensmittel Praxis, in collaboration with the German Frozen Food Institute (Deutsches Tiefkühlinstitut e.V.), awards prizes to the best frozen food departments in the German food retail sector.

The winning recipes of the nominated stores are presented, impressively demonstrating how to optimally tailor a frozen food department to the needs of customers.

BESTSELLER 2025: Celebrating the Year’s Top-Selling Product Innovations

As part of Anuga 2025, RUNDSCHAU für den Lebensmittelhandel will once again recognise the most successful product innovations of the year with its prestigious BESTSELLER awards.

The winners are determined using sell-out data from Circana’s (IRI) well-established InfoScan retail panel, supported by additional market analysis from GfK.

The FairWineAward was not just a competition, but a movement that highlighted the best of quality and environmental awareness in the wine industry. Faced with the challenges of climate change, this event aimed to recognize those winemakers who pursued innovative solutions to protect the environment and reduce the use of pesticides. The winning wines were unveiled at the "Organic on Stage" stage during Anuga.
