FROZEN! dti Innovation Award

Every two years at Anuga, the FROZEN! dti Innovation Award supported by AFC and anuga honours innovations from and for the frozen food industry.

Following its successful premiere in 2023, the FROZEN! dti Innovation Award 2025 was held under the motto: “Frozen Food meets Future – with Frozen Products into the Food World of Tomorrow!” Seventy years ago, in 1955, the first frozen products for the German food trade were presented at Anuga – marking the beginning of a unique success story.

In the anniversary year 2025, “70 Years of Frozen Food in German Retail,” FROZEN! honored innovations from Germany and abroad that advanced the frozen food market and met future-oriented requirements for frozen products and processes – offering clear added value for retail, foodservice, and consumers.

The exciting finale took place on October 7, 2025, at Anuga in Cologne, where three teams pitched live in front of the jury and audience for the win.
