Tiefkühl-Star 2025
For ten years now, the trade magazine Lebensmittel Praxis, in collaboration with the German Frozen Food Institute (dti), has been awarding the Tiefkühl-Star to the best frozen food departments in the food retail sector, thereby highlighting outstanding achievements that serve as inspiration for the entire industry.
This year, there was double reason to celebrate: 70 years ago, in 1955, frozen products made their debut at Anuga. Since then, they have become an indispensable part of the food retail sector.
This year, the event looked back on the success story of frozen food and provided an outlook on the frozen food departments of the future. The emotional highlight of the evening was the presentation of the ‘Frozen Food Stars 2025’ awards.
The award ceremony took place on 6 October from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Kristall-Saal as part of Anuga.
