About Prof. Dr. Carolyn Hutter
Prof. Dr. Carolyn Hutter studied economics at the University of Hohenheim. In her doctoral thesis at the Chair of Environmental Management at the University of Hohenheim, she focused on corporate sustainability strategies in the automotive industry. At Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, she established the Sustainability Office and led it for several years. As Head of CSR and Sustainability at Lidl Germany, she gained experience in the food retail sector and was, among other things, responsible for publishing the company’s first sustainability report.
Since November 2018, Carolyn Hutter has been a professor and program director in the Business Administration – Food Management program at DHBW Heilbronn. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of the German CSR Forum, an advisory board member of the German Institute for Community Catering (Deutsches Institut für Gemeinschaftsgastronomie), as well as a member of the newFOODeconomy advisory board of the dfv media group and of the advisory board of Food Campus Berlin.
