About Dr. Kristian Moeller
Dr. Kristian Moeller is the managing director of appellando GmbH since March 2024. The EHI Retail Institute founded this subsidiary, which is a multi-stakeholder alliance that has created a platform for cross-sector complaint management systems that comply with the relevant supply chain laws. He was the CEO and managing director at FoodPLUS GmbH from 2001 to 2023, where he created the global certification standard GLOBALG.A.P. He comes from a farming background in northern Germany and has a PhD in agricultural economics. He started his professional career in 1996 at the EHI-EuroHandelsinstitut e.V., where he was a manager of European projects and a senior consultant for quality assurance of food, fruit and vegetables, meat and dairy products.
