BIRBA biscuits is a very well-known brand in Spain which has been elaborating biscuits for more than 100 years (since 1893). In Spain you can find BIRBA biscuits in all distribution channels, from big supermarkets like Carrefour, Auchan,... but also in traditional “gourmet shops”, “Speciality shops”, “touristic shops”,...

Five years ago BIRBA changed the owners and main priorities became: first, to open Birba to new Export markets: we are participating in several worldwide exhibitions (Alimentaria Barcelona, Sial Shanghai, Sial Paris, Gulfood Dubai, ISM Koln, Foodex Japan, Fancy Food USA...) and secondly, focusing the strategy of marketing in “NATURAL INGREDIENTS without artificial preservatives and colouring sustances”, which is our hallmark in relation to many other brands.

The main differences of BIRBA biscuits in relation to other brands of the market are the following:

- Our use only Natural Ingredients (without any colouring substances neither preservatives).
- We still bake each biscuit slowly to ensure each one tastes with the unique toasted and crunchy texture that is our hallmark.
- The enormous quality of our ingredients, mostly got from nearby local partners, which has remained unchanged since our company was first set up (fresh eggs instead of powder, olive oil instead of other oils, butter instead of margarine, real chocolate 60% cocoa instead of compound chocolate, fruits instead of flavours,...).
- A brand that was set up in 1893, and that has remained true to its origins.
- An image based on craftsmanship and tradition that pervades our entire business activity.
