Andreas Swoboda is the managing director of the organic bakery firm, BIO BREADNESS.
BIO BREADNESS GmbH, based in Fulda, is a progressive ecological bakery firm, that produces wheat bread using traditional manufacturing methods combined with efficient processes and workflows. For all products in the field of small wheat baked goods, a long-term tour of the pre-doughs of over 20 hours is practiced, followed by baking on stone ovens. The range is supplemented by bake off products and modified atmosphere packaging products.
Prior to his present position, Andreas Swoboda was chairman of the board of the W-E-G Foundation & Co. KG, whose initiatives include Quant Qualitätssicherungs GmbH and herzberger bäckerei GmbH, for which he was the managing director. Mr. Swoboda is a member of the supervisory board of the International Featured Standards (IFS) and sits on the board of the Association of Organic Food Manufacturers (AöL).
