About Hector Freitas
Hector Freitas is Head of DACH (interim) and Strategic Business Development at the Livekindly Collective (LKC), where he drives the company’s transformation beyond retail into foodservice, private label, and B2B channels. He currently oversees the DACH region, LKC’s largest market, and is building new commercial structures and partnerships to accelerate growth.
Hector brings over seven years of experience in the alternative protein sector. As a Partner at Blue Horizon, he co-led Business Development & Fundraising, raising nearly $1 billion for sustainable food ecosystems. During this period, he also co-founded the Livekindly Collective.
Previously, he spent over 18 years in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, and UBS, most recently leading the Global Commodity Business & FX Sales from Switzerland. He holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Administration from Vienna.
