About Jozef Murín
Ing.Bc. Jozef Murín is currently the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of CELPO a.s., based in Slovakia. He graduated from the Technical University of Zvolen (Faculty of Forestry) and also from the University of Trnava in Trnava (Management). He started working at CELPO in 2015 as a Quality Manager and R&D worker. Since 2020, he has been a co-owner of CELPO and became the CEO of the company, where he remained until the end of 2024, when the company took over the investment fund. In 2020, he became a co-inventor of a patent for the production of puffed products with a reduced acrylamide content, for which he received a state award in the field of Technology Transfer together with the team of the Food Research Institute. Currently, at CELPO a.s., he is engaged in cooperation with research institutions and universities in the development of innovative products within the framework of the circular economy and biotechnology.
