About Dr.-Ing. Marvin Bachmann
I have a background in Mechanical and Chemical Engineering and completed a PhD focused on the life cycle assessment of alternative plastic production. I subsequently worked for environmental data and software companies, specializing in corporate environmental accounting with an emphasis on greenhouse gas emissions from forestry, land use and agriculture (FLAG). In this role, I also engaged extensively with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), supporting companies in aligning their reporting and data management practices with emerging regulatory requirements. Building on this expertise, I have since established my own independent practice, where I help organizations measure, analyze, and reduce the environmental impacts of their products."
