Anuga Fine Food, the trade fair for delicatessen, gourmet and basic foods is the largest trade fair under the Anuga umbrella.

Anuga Fine Food is a most important platform for the manufacturers and importers of delicatessen and their customers from the food trade and food service sector.

The trade fair is the leading export platform for over 4,200 companies from 93 countries. The most strongly represented exhibiting countries of Anuga Fine Food are in addition to the DACH regions, Italy, China, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Thailand, India, the USA, France and Great Britain. Just under 97,000 visitors were present in the halls of Anuga Fine Food at the last regular edition of Anuga. In addition to the DACH region, the top countries among the visitors were the Netherlands, France, Turkey, Spain, Great Britain, Italy, India, Belgium, Poland and China.

As well as foodstuffs from the sections delicatessen, gourmet and basic foods, Anuga Fine Food also offers a large range of private label products, convenience & snacking items, regional specialities, superfoods as well as kosher products.

The special event " Anuga Halal Market " offers a wide spectrum of halal-certified products for the food trade. This product group is becoming increasingly important within the international food industry. Demand for halal convenience food is in particular rising in the Middle Eastern markets. At the same time, the demand for halal-certified food products is also growing in the West. The continent with the highest demand for halal products is Asia. This is also where the largest number of new launches of products that claim to be halal are registered. Africa and the Middle East also represent important regional markets for halal foods.

Anuga Fine Food has served as the home for the trend exhibition Anuga Clean Labe l since 2021. Less sugar and less artificial ingredients, instead more plant-based and natural aromas - that is how more and more people imagine the future offer of food will be. After the boom of organic products, the new food trend is now moving in the direction of clean eating: conscious, healthy diets are called for. This also goes hand in hand with a return to traditional and natural food production without genetic modification. In line with this trend, numerous products will be presented at Anuga under the term "Clean Label".

The trend exhibition Anuga Free From, Health & Functional Food has also been enhancing Anuga Fine Food's range of offers since 2021. Food and health have been closely linked for many years already. "Health" is one of the industry's mega food trends. Lifestyle developments through to a conscious diet play an as equally important role here as the increase in intolerances. This is why more and more alternatives to wheat, gluten, lactose or fructose can be found on the market - which are enjoying increased popularity.
