A personal Koelnmesse account is required to participate in the trade fair so that we can ensure a high level of trade visitor quality and offer you an optimal digital trade fair experience. You will also use this account later to register in the trade fair app.
The Koelnmesse account is also required for the trade visitor certificate. As a visitor:at the previous event, you will be automatically legitimised. Otherwise, we ask you to upload a meaningful document (business card, extract from the commercial register, etc.) when registering, which we will check within a maximum of 48 hours. You can continue the purchase or redemption process upon receipt of the confirmation e-mail.
How to get your ticket
Automatic ticket in the app
In the trade fair app, you can conveniently access the ticket and your public transport ticket in the ticket wallet there.
Simply log in to the app with the Koelnmesse account you used to purchase your ticket.
The app also allows you to plan your visit to the trade fair efficiently. Here you will find the hall plan and navigation, exhibitor and product lists, the event programme and can network with other trade fair participants.
Ticket via download
You will also receive your ticket as a PDF file in the order confirmation. You can also download the ticket to the wallet of your mobile device via a link in the e-mail.
The ticket for public transport will be sent to you in a separate e-mail. You can also call up your ticket and travelcard at any time under ‘My orders’ in the Ticket Shop.
Would you like to forego the advantages of the Koelnmesse account and the app? Then you can alternatively purchase a ticket on site or redeem a ticket code by presenting proof of trade visitor status.

Anuga is a trade fair. It is open to decision-makers (management, purchasing/procurement, store management, sales and marketing) from the following sectors of the food and drink industry: food retail and wholesale trade, drinks retail and wholesale trade, trade co-operatives, drugstores and health food stores, food and drink trade representatives, food and drink importing and exporting, food skilled trades, food and drink manufacturing industry and suppliers to the food and drink industry.
Responsible employees from companies engaged in the food service and catering market such as the hotel and catering trade, system/brand-name catering, industrial, communal and institutional catering including contract catering are also eligible to attend.
The show is also open to those involved in the procurement and installation of technical facilities and equipment, the planning of large-scale catering establishments as well as the specialist trade for technology for large scale catering establishments.
Visitors must be able to provide proof of their trade visitor status when acquiring their entrance tickets.
- Technical school classes
Technical school classes of certain training courses are permitted. The specialist school cards can only be purchased at the Federation of German Food Trade (BVLH) - after explicit permission.
Students of industry-relevant courses can purchase the regular ticket in advance with the appropriate proof after the industry relevance of the enrolment has been checked.

Travel ticket
You will receive your free travel ticket in a separate e-mail. For use of the public transport system please print out the PDF file in size A4 or download the PDF file to your mobile device.
The free travel ticket (2nd class) is valid for public transport in the expanded network of the Rhein Sieg Transportoperated by the Rhein Sieg Transport Authority (VRS) .
Exempted are trains of the Deutsche Bahn AG subject to a surcharge, e.g. the IC/EC or ICE.
The public transport ticket only provides authorization for arrival and departure in the context of a visit to Koelnmesse GmbH within the indicated period of the trade fair. It is non-transferable and only valid in connection with a valid photo identification and an admission ticket of Koelnmesse GmbH.

Admission restrictions
You want to bring children along?
Children over the age of 12 are admitted to the trade fair if accompanied by a parent or guardian. A ticket is also required in this case.
Children under the age of 12 are not admitted to the trade fair.
Infants up to the age of one year may be brought to the fair if they are carried. Baby carriages are not permitted for safety reasons (danger of tripping).

Suitcase regulation
Guests with trade visitor tickets are not allowed to bring suitcases, trolleys or backpacks onto the trade fair grounds. These have to be deposited at the cloak room for free. Large empty bags are to be left at the cloak room as well. Briefcases, handbags and pilot suitcases in standard carry-on sizes (approx. 55x40x20 cm) are permitted.
Carriage of dogs and other pets
It is prohibited to bring dogs and other pets to our fair grounds.
