Due to Koelnmesse’s central and convenient location in Europe, visitors can reach Koelnmesse quickly by car, train, airplane and public transport from many cities in Germany and abroad.

Tips and notes on arrival

Arrival with the local public transport network

The following local public transport stops are located within walking distance of the fair grounds.

Entrance South:

  • Suburban train stop "Köln Messe/Deutz": Numbers S6, S11, S12, S19
  • Tram and underground stop "Köln Messe/Deutz (Underground) Station": Numbers 1 and 9

Entrances East, West, North:

  • Tram and underground stop "Köln Messe/Deutz": Numbers 3 and 4

Your admission ticket as a public transport ticket (VRS):
In addition to your admission ticket, you will receive your public transport ticket in a separate e-mail. Please print this PDF file out in A4 format and bring it with you to the trade fair. The public transport ticket only entitles you to travel to and from Koelnmesse over the period of the trade fair (2nd class) using the VRS network of the Rhine-Sieg transport system (VRS).

1. Exception: The IDS (.pdf) tickets are also valid for the Rhein-Ruhr transport network (VRR).

2. Exception: Only tickets purchased for the Asia-Pacific Sourcing at the box office are valid in the network of the Rhine-Sieg transport system (VRS).

Exempted are Deutsche Bahn AG trains that are subject to a supplementary charge (e.g. IC/EC or ICE trains). Only valid in connection with valid photo identification and an admission ticket of Koelnmesse GmbH.

Practical tips for a relaxed day at the trade fair

In addition to the well-known exhibition centre car parks, the exhibition centre car park on Pfälzischer Ring is also available as a convenient alternative for Anuga.
