For ten years now, the trade magazine Lebensmittel Praxis, together with the German Frozen Food Institute (dti), has been awarding the Tiefkühl-Star to the best frozen food departments in the food retail sector, highlighting outstanding achievements that serve as inspiration for the entire industry. 1955, frozen products made their debut at Anuga. Since then, they have become an indispensable part of food retail.

This year, we take a look back at the success story of frozen food and look ahead to the frozen food departments of the future. The emotional highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the ‘Tiefkühl-Stars 2025’ awards.
