Anuga Frozen Food is the coolest trade fair under the Anuga umbrella. The trade fair unites the frozen food industry with the trade and the out-of-home market.

Frozen products are highly popular at Anuga. The out-of-home market is the fastest growing segment within the frozen food industry. Particularly convenience products as well as small portions that can be prepared fast are on the advance here.

Anuga Frozen Food is the leading export platform for over 600 companies from 56 countries. At the last regular edition of Anuga, the top countries of origin of these companies included China, Italy, Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Egypt, Spain, Greece, Serbia and Poland.

Almost 63,000 people visited the frozen food hall. In addition to the DACH region, Anuga Frozen Food recorded the most visitors from the Netherlands, China, Italy, France, the USA, Belgium, Poland, Great Britain, Spain and Greece.

The trade fair attracts both the stationary and online food trade including companies like Albert Heijn, Amazon, Carrefour, Coop, Costco, Edeka, Joybuy, Jumbo Supermarkten, Kroger, Mercadona, Metro, Migros, Rewe, Sainsbury’s, Sam's Club, Schwarz Gruppe, Sobeys, SPC, Sysco and Walmart.

Alongside the food trade, the out-of-home market also constitutes a significant group of top buyers at Anuga Frozen Food from companies like Accor Hotels, Burger King, Chefs Culinar, Ikea, Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts, Jet, L’Osteria, LSG Sky Chefs, Maritim Hotels, McDonald‘s, Starbucks Coffee, Steigenberger Hotels and Resorts, Tank & Rast, The Ash, TransGourmet, Vapiano and Yorma’s.

The Tiefkühl-Star award is conferred at Anuga Frozen Food in collaboration with Anuga's partners, the German Frozen Food Institute and the trade magazine Lebensmittel Praxis.
