HANNA Poultry specialities of handmade quality - from the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia

Maize fields in Delbrück, East Westphalia, surround the headquarters of HANNA-Feinkost AG. For over 50 years, the family business has been producing premium quality poultry specialities here.

"The fusion of tradition, experience and handmade production with modern manufacturing techniques and trends is what distinguishes us and each of our products," summarises Andreas Biermann, CEO of HANNA-Feinkost AG. In addition to classics such as chicken nuggets made from pure chicken breast fillet or chicken cordon bleu, the food processing company's product assortment also includes more unusual product developments such as a chicken pocket with cheese sucuk filling. However, HANNA is known above all for products that are not otherwise available on the market and in which a lot of handwork goes, for example, differently filled, hand-rolled roulades. "The handmade quality is certainly one of our USPs. Of course, products like our roulades are more labour-intensive and therefore more expensive than purely machine-made goods," Biermann explains the special production processes.

HANNA puts the service in food service

"In the field, we score with concentrated expertise," says Michael Wittwer, Head of Sales and Marketing. This refers to the six-member field service team with the expertise and experience to provide customers and users with the best possible support. Trade fairs, tastings or application questions about HANNA products are just as much a part of the tasks of the regional and national key account managers as the preparation of offers or sampling according to customer requirements. Together with the internal sales team, this ensures personalised support.

Accompanied by the creative staff of the marketing and product development department, the Delbrück-based company always has new ideas and innovative products but never loses sight of the currently most central product feature: the concept of convenience. In times of a lack of staff in all areas of gastronomy, characteristics such as simple preparation, the certainty of success, and calculability are becoming increasingly important.

Enjoy together carefree

The entire HANNA range has been halal-certified for four years. After a long period of familiarisation with the topic of "Halal", the decision to take this step was easy. In addition to opening up new customer groups, two arguments weigh particularly heavily for sales manager Wittwer: "The fact that the entire range is certified makes it much easier for the user. He can offer dishes that can be eaten carefree by both observant Muslims and all other guests without any extra effort or double stocking. In addition, this certificate is another sign of quality for our raw materials and processes due to its strict controls."
