Runed by Ernesto and Alan Lowenstein (father and son), they are the Seven Generation in the meatpacking industry, the last three in Argentina, previously in Germany.
Born from a spirit of tradition and innovation, Frigorifico Pico has two plants in Argentina in the cities of General Pico (Plant Nr 2531) and Trenel (Plant Nr 2792) both located in the middle of the so-called Humid Pampa in the BEST PRODUCTIVE ZONE OF LIVESTOCK in the country.
Frigorifico Pico honors the exuberance of the Argentine Pampas, one of the world’s largest reservoirs of the best British cattle breeds of great gastronomic value such as Hereford and Aberdeen Angus.
Most of the cattle selected by Frigorifico Pico are naturally raised in the open field, grass fed & grain finished in their last stage of growth to add energy turning our meat into a product with a unique flavor, tender and exceptionally juiciness.
