Port Logistics

NORDFROST designs the global supply chain for our importing and exporting customers. This incorporates organising sea freight, including precarriage and oncarriage, and the official clearance of third-country shipments plus the holistic services offered by our container freight stations. Container logistics involves container trucking as well as container depots with all container related services such as container check (PTI, CSC and reefer), repairing, washing, empty and full container storage. Our spacious storage facilities directly in the port help to reduce your container and dead freight costs. This is where we stow loose or palletised goods in containers for you as required – and without any weight restrictions.

We offer wide-ranging port logistics services as well as warehousing and transport services, including combined transport operations, sometimes even with our own rail link including project shipments with seaworthy packaging through heavy lift to pharmaceutical logistics. We operate state-of-the-art facilities in Wilhelmshaven – Germany's only deep-water port –, Hamburg, Bremerhaven and soon in Wesel on the Lower Rhine, where we are building our own port terminal with cold store next to the quay which will be completed by mid 2024.
